Resources for Early Developmental Concerns

This information is to connect you with additional resources to better help you and your developing child. If you are experiencing concerns with your child's development, consult your child's health care physician as you may need a referral from then to pressure these additional resources.  

The San Diego Regional Center is a resource provided to aid you in the assessment of your child between the ages of birth to 3 years, with present  developmental concerns.

Easter Seals provided services from 0-3 years and 3-6 years within Head Start State Programs. 

Maxim is an Organization that can provide special need services and support when you child has received a diagnosis. Contact them to see what services are covered under your specific insurance. 

Contact your Local School District to find out where your home resided within the school district boundaries to find out what school your child will attend. If your child is 3 years or older they can qualify for an assessment by the behavioral specialist within the school district to determine if they qualify for special services to aid them in their school day. 

Local Special Needs school called FlorVista is a public school that provided neurodivergent trained educators as well as low ratios for optimal learning.
